European Visiting Programme |
|
European Visiting Programme (EVP) is an EDSA exchange programme, which gives students the opportunity to visit other dental faculties in foreign countries for a couple of days or weeks with educational purpose. Students get the chance to broaden their views, develop ability to adapt to a different environment and make new friends. In such way boundaries are overcome and movement becomes easier. The main objectives of the programme include:
• To visit other dental schools around Europe • To observe and appreciate other methods of practicing and teaching dentistry • To see how these methods compare with or differ from the methods taught in the participants school • To visit a city where we may wish to spend more time in e.g. on Erasmus • To learn about other cultures and languages • To establish links with other dental schools in Europe • To make new friendships! The EVP is "flexible" with short-medium duration of 1-3 weeks. Hosting dental schools set up an agreed program for the foreign students. Students receive an exchange certificate and submit an assessment report. Partners and co-organisers present themselves through the exchanges.
