Quality assuring volunteer work: Help without harm
EDSA invites you to the EDSA Forum "Quality assuring volunteer work: Help without harm " which will be held during the FDI 2010 Annual World Dental Congress in Salvador, Brazil from September 2nd – 5th, 2010.

Even with the best intentions, dental volunteers might do more harm if their work are not synchronises with the populations expectations and needs, local dentists and health care authorities, therefore at the Forum the following questions will be discussed:

How the volunteer work in the field of dentistry is being monitored?
What measurements can we take on to eliminate harm, but to increase the quality of volunteer work for the security of dentists and patients? Who is involved in planning? How are dentists encouraged to participate? How is volunteer work supervised? What measurements can be taken to increase the quality of volunteer work? Is the term quality assurance applicable?

All EDSA friends are invited to attend the Forum and there is a special hotel package for the young prepared in the Hotel Sol Bahia located very near the best beaches in Salvador and 5 minutes away from the Convention Center of Bahia.
