IDS in Cologne is the world’s leading trade show and sector meeting place for decision-makers from dental practices, dental labs, the specialist dental trade, the dental industry and from research and development. More than 106,000 visitors gather information on new products and innovations from over 1,820 exhibitors from 56 countries.

EDSA Portfolio was published on paper and representatives went searching for new partners during the IDS in Cologne, Germany between 24-28 March. Stephen Kebke (EDSA Partnership Officer) accompanied by Emilia Taneva (EDSA President) and Irina Dragan (EDSA General Secretary) visited most of the 1700 dental company booths, distributing the Portfolio and presenting EDSA events, activities, current and future projects. Official meetings took place with Colgate, W&H, GC, Wrigley’s, Zhermack, Kerr, etc and the EDSA Magazine publisher Blackwell-Wiley. We are happy to announce that Colgate is continuing the cooperation, upgrading to Platinum Sponsorship and W&H will be EDSA Bronze sponsor for the 2009-10 year as well. Many other companies were interested in collaboration and participation in the upcoming Helsinki & Bucharest Meetings. The negotiation is proceeding.

EDSA representatives had official meeting with FDI Executive Director and Board Members. Several joint projects are on the table for further discussions.
